Expanders can be supplied as single- and multistage variants, in axial or radial configurations. With maximum inlet temperatures of up to 760 °C, an inlet pressure of 16 bar and outputs of up to 30 MW, they can be connected to a generator or directly to the machinery train.
They are preferably used in:
