Dr. Peter Park was born in Munich in 1965. After graduating from high school he completed an apprenticeship as industrial clerk at Siemens AG. He went on to study business administration at Augsburg University. In 1997 he completed his doctorate to become Dr. rer. pol. at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf.

In 1993, Dr. Park began his professional career at PricewaterhouseCoopers. In 1997 he joined Siemens AG in Munich, where he has held various positions in the corporate finance department. In 2002 he became Performance Controlling Manager, a role which took him to Siemens Medical Solutions in Erlangen (which is today known as Sector Healthcare). In 2003 he took over the commercial management at Siemens Medical Solutions Health Services in Philadelphia, PA. As from 2005, he headed the Healthcare Finance Division of Siemens Medical Solutions USA.

Since 2007 Dr. Peter Park has managed the accounting department of MAN SE. In this capacity, he has been responsible for drawing up the consolidated financial statement and annual report, the group reporting and planning, as well as for all tax matters for the corporation and its subsidiary companies.

On 1 April, 2011 he was appointed CFO on the Executive Board of MAN Diesel & Turbo SE, based in Augsburg.

Dr. Peter Park is married and has two children.
