22.05.2003 - The blower is a compact, multistage centrifugal blower. It is arranged together with the gear unit and oil units on a base frame that serves at the same time as an oil tank for the central lubricating system. The blower has an intake and an outlet nozzle and is thus provided for one vacuum level. The air flow passes through an annular inlet space to the first impeller.
The kinetic energy produced in the impeller is largely converted to pressure energy in the diffusor that follows. The air flow is carried to the next impeller via a bladed return channel. Finally, the air flow heated by compression energy is routed via the outlet nozzle to the air exhaust pipe system.
The blower and gear unit are supplied fully assembled.
